Live on the Common

Celebrate summer with your neighbors at this exciting Town of Ross community event, proudly co-sponsored by Ross Property Owners’ Association and Ross Auxiliary. Enjoy TWO nights of live music on the outdoor stage with your fellow community members on the Common. Plus, we’ll have kids activities and food trucks with amazing offerings for purchase on Ross Common near Redwood in addition to Ross’s downtown food purveyors. 

Redwood Drive (at Ross Common) will be closed to allow for tables with chairs in the street for dining spaced appropriately to comply with COVID-19 health guidelines. Other seating options include new picnic tables on the Common near Redwood Drive. You can also  bring your own food and beverage and spread out with a picnic blanket on the grass while enjoying the live music performances on stage.

Jon Chi Band

Jon is a Ross resident with with honest songwriting and lyrics at the forefront of his music.He’s collaborated in the studio with musicians including Mickey Hart of the Grateful Dead, guitar greats Erenest Ranglin and Robben Ford, and songwriting talents Jolie Holland, James Mercer of the Shins, and the Jayhawks. These diverse artists had varying influences on Jon as you will hear in his songs (jonchi.com).

Food Truck: Casablanca Food Truck

Face Painting for Kids: Kids can come to the tent on Ross Common and get their face painted.

Tim Weed & Friends

Tim is a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter known for virtuosity on the banjo. Weed’s music is a diverse mix of rock, pop, R&B, blues, Americana and his concerts are captivating and always include improvisation and dazzling interplay between band members, epitomizing what great live music is all about (timweed.com).

Food Truck: Al Pastor Papi

Bubble Play for Kids: Kids can enjoy bubble thrills on the Common, creating bubbles big and small with the Bubble Lady.
