CANCELLED: We at the Ross Auxiliary regret to inform you that due to the recent Shelter-in-Place order, all public events and concentrated gatherings must be cancelled including our WinterFest On Wheels Car Parade per the Town and the County.

There are still a few ways to celebrate:

Santa Mailbox
Our Santa mailbox will be going up Wed, Dec. 8 in front of the Post Office. For a response from one of Santa's elves, please drop off your child's letter by end of day Sun, Dec 13 and include your child's name and return address on the envelope. The mailbox will remain up throughout the holiday season, however letters received after Dec. 13 will not receive a response.

Holiday Hunt
Our festive
Holiday Hunt Printable is fun for kids of all ages. Search your home or outdoors for the items on the list. Hopefully this will make family walks and bike rides a little more merry!

Holiday Lights
When RPOA sent out the call for residents of Fernhill and Shady to go nuts on lights, neighbors answered the call! While we aren't allowed to meet at a designated day/start time/duration for our event, you can still explore the neighborhood decorations and lights at night.

Ross Common
Keep an eye out for the Town tree to be light up

Ugly Sweater Cookies
Check out some of the fun and festive
ugly sweater cookie creations.

This year, due to COVID, the Ross Auxiliary in conjunction with the Ross Property Owners’ Association is reimagining our annual Winter Sing event to bring a safe, holiday event to the community. WinterFest On Wheels will be a festive car-based celebration on Saturday, December 12 starting at Branson and ending at Ross Common. We are also encouraging residents of Fernhill and Shady along this route to help bring the holiday spirit and decorate their homes (and their street front property) as festively as possible this season.

There will be magical festival of lights, live jazz trio playing holiday music and Santa Claus himself in Ross Common along with a few holiday stops with helpers masked and gloved distributing candy canes, dreidels, crafts, a Letters to Santa mailbox (please include your child’s name and return address on the envelope for a response) and other exciting seasonal surprises. Car parade participants are encouraged to festively decorate and light up their car. Santa will be there to take a socially-distanced picture with everyone in their vehicles.

Also don’t miss out on our Ugly Sweater Cookie Decorating Kits — they’re a fun way to continue festivities at home after the event!

Event Schedule:

4:45pm - Decorated cars line up in the Branson parking lot

5:00pm - Car parade starts; heads down Fernhill, turns on Shady to Ross Common

- Holiday stations will be placed along the route in Ross Common

- Please bring a Letter to Santa to mail at our Santa Mailbox station.

- Please include your child’s name and return address on the envelope for a response

- All participants MUST remain in their car at all times

- Parade route should take 30-40 minutes to complete

This is a free event for the Town of Ross residents.
